Here’s when 2000trees Festival will be returning in 2021
Unfortunately, another festival has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The latest heartbreaking news comes from the UK-based 2000trees Festival. The festival issued a statement today (April 28).
2000trees was set to have an incredible lineup featuring the likes of Jimmy Eat World, Creeper, Boston Manor, Silverstein, the Get Up Kids and more.

2000trees was all set to take place this summer, July 9-11. That is until the COVID-19 pandemic forced it to be delayed until 2021. 2000trees joins the likes of most music industry events that have been postponed due to coronavirus.
Massive festivals like Coachella and Glastonbury have been delayed. The Hella Mega Tour with Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer was forced to postpone shows as well as some highly anticipated My Chemical Romance shows. That doesn’t even scratch the surface of how industries are being rattled in the wake of this pandemic.
Now, 2000trees has been postponed until July 8-10, 2021. The festival issued a brief statement on their social media channels.
We are absolutely gutted to confirm that #2000trees will not be taking place this summer.
We tried for as long as possible to keep the dream alive, but the health of our guests, staff, and the wider community is our top priority.
This means that we are forced to postpone the festival until 8-10 July 2021. All tickets already purchased automatically roll over for next year. So if you already have yours, you don’t need to do anything else to join us at Upcote Farm for next summer’s best rock party.

OK legends, it’s finally time to call it. We tried for as long as possible to stay optimistic, but unfortunately, we have had to take the incredibly tough decision to postpone 2000trees until July 8th-10th 2021. After 13 years, we really can’t comprehend a summer without 2000trees & we’re truly gutted.
The good news is that all tickets will automatically be valid for next year’s event and if you already have your ticket, you do not have to do anything to reserve your place at 2000trees 2021. Your existing ticket is now your ticket to 2021.
As a small business that’s been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic, we really need as many people as possible to roll their tickets to next year, just so we can keep paying our staff and secure the long term survival of 2000trees.

The decision to postpone wasn’t taken lightly and is sincerely the last thing we wanted to do. We were still hopeful of going ahead until a few days ago; however, it has become increasingly clear that the current situation isn’t going away anytime soon and the health & safety of our guests, staff & the wider community at large has to come first.
Even after 13 years we are still a proudly independent business. We as a core organiser team do not pay ourselves a salary unless the festival goes ahead and makes a profit. We are still just 6 music-loving chaps who want to put on an amazing festival and party with 10,000 likeminded individuals.
