‘3 From Hell’ poster omits main character causing plot speculation
With 3 From Hell just a few weeks away from release, we’re finally getting to see the film’s official poster.
Rob Zombie announced the new poster today via Instagram highlighting three of the core cast members.

The poster shows Sheri Moon Zombie‘s Baby, Bill Moseley’s Otis and Richard Brake‘s new character Foxy. Many fans have pointed out a noticeable lack of the character Captain Spaulding and are expecting a less-than-happy ending for the character.
Why no Captain Spaulding on the poster? ?

Reason being, he’s not in many posters or whatever, and IMO his health is not great. He’s a shell of the Sid that played in the 1st 2 films. Orrrr…maybe he comes outta nowhere, in the captain spaulding we all remember Fromm House’ 1000, and kills everyone that deserves it…..

I assume Sid was just too old to film a whole movie and Rob had to think of a way to replace him. I assume Captain Spaulding gets the chair in Prison. Don’t know how Brake is related to the family tho.

3 From Hell will hit 900 theatres Sept. 16, 17 and 18 with tickets going on sale here. The unrated version will play with special bonus content each night, according to Bloody Disgusting.
On Sept. 16, a video introduction from Zombie himself will introduce the film and the first 50 moviegoers at each theater will receive an exclusive poster. On Sept. 17, there will be a 30-minute behind-the-scenes feature giving fans a look at the making of the film. On Sept. 18, there will be a double feature of predecessor The Devil’s Rejects followed by 3 From Hell.
“This event is a long time coming,” Zombie says. “The journey of these characters has always been special to me and I am thrilled to finally let the fans experience the next episode of the Firefly madness. This project was a true labor of love for everyone involved and we know we have created something amazing for the loyal followers of these films. Let the insanity begin!”
