5SOS performed 2014 hit “She Looks So Perfect” and their latest single “Youngblood” from the band’s most recent album, which was released last week and could get to number 1 on the Billboard album chart.
According to Billboard, the band is likely to sell around 110,000 units, considering physical sales and streaming, which could put then on the number 1 spot in front of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s album as The Carters, Everything Is Love.
We’re excited to see what’s going to happen on when Billboard drops the chart on Sunday. As guitarist Michael Clifford shared on Twitter, if they land the top spot, 5 Seconds Of Summer will be the first band ever to have their first three albums go number 1 in the U.S.
to think that 4 dudes from Western Sydney could even have a chance against two of the most successful artists of all time is insane. we would be the first band in history to have our first three albums go #1 in the US. we are so close. 5sos fam for life. pic.twitter.com/BeW73XFvGC
