5 Seconds of Summer drop acoustic version of “Lie To Me” with video

5 Seconds of Summer have blessed us yet again with an acoustic version of “Lie To Me” and a video to go with it.

The band dropped the video on Friday of the popular track of their latest album Youngblood.

The music video was filmed at Los Angeles’s Irwindale Speedway. The acoustic version sheds a whole new light on the track and we are already obsessed.

This isn’t the only alternative version of “Lie To Me.” The band also dropped a version of the song featuring Julia Michaels, which you can check out below.

It was recently revealed that the band is already working on their next album. The band’s Michael Clifford revealed the album could come this year or in 2020.

Outside of working on new tunes, the band are up for Best Duo/Group of the Year at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards. They’ll be facing off with Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, Panic! At The Disco and twenty one pilots.

The sixth iHeartRadio Music Awards will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles March 14 at 8 p.m. EST.

Also, the band recently dropped a new live album, Meet You There Tour Live. The release showcases their latest headlining tour. It’s primarily songs from their latest release, it also features previous hits from the band’s other records.

Outside of the music realm, Clifford also recently got engaged to Crystal Leigh and we couldn’t be happier for the couple.

“I was lucky enough to ask the love of my life to marry me in the place it all began for us,” Michael Clifford wrote in his Twitter post that revealed the news. “In the last 3 years she has helped evolve and shape who I am in ways I could never have imagined.”
