7-Eleven making childhood dreams come true with name-your-price Slurpees for a day

This coming Saturday, November 7, 7-Eleven establishments everywhere will be offering their signature Slurpees for a pay-what-you-want price.

For any size of your choosing, you can put forth a penny, $30 or whatever you feel compelled to. 100 percent of the proceeds will go towards Feeding America and various local member food banks.

7-Eleven’s Name Your Own Price Day will begin at 12:01 a.m. this coming Saturday, and end at 11:59 p.m. Do you plan on grabbing a Slurpee this weekend?

Earlier this year, 7-Eleven coordinated a separate campaign around their iced beverages, which allowed customers to bring in whatever “cup” they wanted, as long as they fit underneath the dispenser.
