A Day To Remember show "Resentment" in powerful new song

A Day To Remember have just released their latest single, “Resentment,” just two weeks after postponing their seventh studio album, You’re Welcome.

A Day To Remember gained traction in the early 2000s with their albums Homesick and What Separates Me From You. Both albums were produced by New Found Glory guitarist and vocalist Chad Gilbert, with singer Jermey McKinnon and Andrew Wade.

The band released their most recent album, Bad Vibrations, in 2016. This August, the Florida rock group dropped their new single “Degenerates” after announcing a series of tour dates under the same name.

It was the first new music from ADTR in three years, besides their collab Rescue Me” with Marshmello early this summer. It also marks the first release with the band’s new label, Fueled By Ramen. You can check out the song below.

You’re Welcome was set to be released Nov. 15, but the band took to Instagram just a week before to announce in a handwritten note that it had taken longer than expected. The new album is now slated for an early 2020 release.

A couple months back we announced we’d be releasing our album Nov 15th. It’s taken a little longer than expected and we just aren’t done with it yet. So we are moving this to early 2020. Rest assured there’s a lot of new music coming out very soon and we can’t wait to share it with you. Thanks for supporting us all these years and see you out there on The Degenerates Tour!

To tie us over until then, A Day To Remember took to Twitter early this morning to announce that their latest single “Resentment” is now available for streaming.

McKinnon’s vocals are as clean as ever with a classic growl right before the chorus hits. There’s a drop in the bridge that echos What Separates Me From You as the ever-recognizable bass and percussions shake one’s eardrums.  You can stream the new track here or below.

A Day To Remember are currently wrapping up the Degenerates tour with I Prevail and Beartooth before teaming up with Underoath in Florida for their Homecoming shows. ADTR will then make their way overseas. You can check out the remaining tour dates below and grab your tickets here. You can also purchase “Resentment” here
