Fans have been questioning whether or not Krasinski, who wrote, directed, and starred in the film, would be returning for the sequel, as his character gets killed.

“Oh [Krasinski is] definitely involved,” Form told Collider. “We’re lucky on this one. I’ve had movies where the studio says to you, ‘Here’s your date. Let’s go!’ and on this one we’re not rushing anything, which is amazing.”

“So we’re gonna take our time, we’re gonna figure out where to go, but there is no rush on it and we’re just starting to talk about it. We’re figuring out what everyone’s involvement’s gonna be and what the actual next movie’s gonna be. The first one is so special to us that we really want to take our time with this and not rush anything.”

Although A Quiet Place sequel has been confirmed, we’ve yet to learn what it is going to be about. Krasinski has shared his thoughts and hopes the film will explore the other survivors seen only by the fires lit off in the distance.

Since hitting theaters, the film has earned massive success at not only the box office, but among critics as well. The film has earned more than $213 million worldwide at the box office, which includes $134.8 million in North America alone. Krasinski’s directorial debut has also earned a 95 percent “fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Recently, Krasinski answered some questions about the movie, confirming the monsters are aliens from another planet. The planet had no light, so the monsters have no need for eyes in order to hunt, just an acute sense or hearing.
