A Day To Remember to settle Victory Records lawsuit this fall: "We still win [no matter what]"

A Day To Remember’s lawsuit with former label Victory Records has been ongoing for multiple years now. A final settlement will be decided this fall, but regardless of the outcome, frontman Jeremy McKinnon believes he and the rest of the band win no matter what.

“Even if we lost everything in that court case, we still win,” he says. “I know that’s weird to hear, but even if we lost everything, it’s still a positive. We still end up in a better position.”

ADTR released their first album without Victory, titled Common Courtesy, in 2013 during the case. Before the suit is settled this fall, the band will release their second post-Victory record, Bad Vibrations, Sept. 2.

They’re ready to put the bad vibes of legal woes in the past, and move on to more positive harbors. As they do so, it will be fun for fans to watch them blossom into the band they were always meant to become.
