Actress took her son's name from Captain Underpants book

Earlier this week, actress Cate Blanchett served as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Among other things, she revealed where her youngest son, Ignatius, received his name, (via People). “Dash, I guess came from Dashiell Hammett, and Roman… Polanski, but it’s also the French word for book, and Ignatius came from this book called Captain Underpants,” she said. “I was eight months pregnant and hallucinating, and there’s a section in the book where he gets so upset [from] everyone teases him, because his name is Professor Pee-Pee Poopypants, so he forces the [rest of the] world to change their names.”
