Adestria announce indefinite hiatus

In a long-awaited offiical statement from Adestria frontman Matt Anderson, the singer announced that the group are going on an “indefinite break.” You can read all of what he had to say below.

Are you sad to see the band go? Would you like to see them get back together in the future?

Alright guys, update time. This was put off long enough. 
I've always tried to be as honest and upfront with you as I can, and I'll do my best to keep that up. As of now, there is no new music, and no new tours for us in the future. We did a lot of soul searching the past few months, and we amicably came to the conclusion that we're taking an indefinite break. 
In truth, it's a bummer that we're done. But that's how this goes. Music changes, members change, and it's hard living off $5 a day haha. Only a rare few bands can make a life out of music, and we were lucky enough (and very grateful) to do this as long as we did. 
Thanks to all of you for the support, whether you downloaded a cd, let us crash on your floor, bought us a beer, etc. There may be other projects in the future that some of us take part in, but for now we are saying goodbye to Adestria. (Until you guys start a kickstarter and pay for us to “come back”….just kidding). 
We've always tried to make ourselves available to you, and that won't change. If you have any questions or just need to talk, we're around. 

I can't thank all of you enough for being part of and encouraging something that we gave our lives to for so many years. Everything you've done for us means more than you know….see what I did there?
