Back in 2016, Alkaline Trio and blink-182's Matt Skiba joined A Day To Remember onstage for a cover of Alk3's classic “Private Eye.” Now, that performance is finally available to watch in high-quality video—see it below.

As we reported at the time (along with fan footage of the live collab), Skiba joined A Day To Remember onstage in his hometown of Chicago while ADTR were supporting blink-182 on their headlining tour. During their set, lights hit the stage with “ADTR” written in the classic Alkaline Trio font as Skiba joined them for a special take on “Private Eye.” The track comes from Alk3's 2001 album From Here To Infirmary.

Alkaline Trio were due to play at A Day To Remember's Self Help Festival this month, but were forced to cancel due to health issues: “Throughout our career, we've been fortunate to only cancel a handful of shows,” the band wrote, “and it's not something we take lightly. Unfortunately, today we have to announce that we will not be playing Self Help Festival on Saturday. Matt's recovery from throat surgery is not healing as quickly as planned and, per his doctor, he can't perform.”
