Aerosmith, Run-DMC honor Kobe Bryant during 2020 Grammys set
Aerosmith held up a Kobe Bryant jersey in honor of the late basketball icon during their performance at the Grammy Awards.
The band collaborated with RUN-D.M.C. to sing “Walk This Way” and also performed “Living On The Edge”. Aerosmith were being honored as Musicares Person of the Year at the show.

On Sunday, Bryant, 41, passed away following a helicopter crash in Calabasas. At least three other passengers were on board, and there are no survivors, according to TMZ.
Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter Gianna Maria Onore and Orange Coast College basketball coach John Altobelli were also killed in the crash, TMZ reports. The cause of the accident is currently unknown.
During the Aerosmith set, the band held up Bryant’s jersey. You can see a clip of their tribute and videos from the performance below.

Aerosmith were far from the only performers to honor the basketball legend, as the Grammys were held in the Staples Center where the Lakers play.
