AFI, who have been teasing fans with cryptic videos for months, have finally announced that they've inked a deal with Republic Records and have fall release plans in mind.

“We are thrilled to be joining the Republic family for the release of our ninth record,” Davey Havok said in a statement. “We've spent over two years realizing this album and could not be more excited to share it with all.”

Though the album, produced by Gil Norton (Pixies, Patti Smith, Foo Fighters), has yet to receive the official release date stamp, the band did release a video pointing to something happening in the fall (September, specifically) a few months ago.
