AFI's 'Blood Album' debuts at No. 5 on Billboard 200

For the fourth time in AFI's illustrious history, their latest album AFI (The Blood Album) has debuted in the top ten of the Billboard 200.

Billboard has recently announced that The Blood Album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.

This No. 5 spot is the highest AFI has debuted on the Billboard 200 since Decemberunderground debuted at No. 1 in 2006.

The Blood Album is the band's tenth LP, something guitarist Jade Puget called “a milestone.” It released on Jan. 20.

The Weeknd's Starboy is spending it's fifth nonconsecutive week at the Billboard 200. The Blood Album is one of two debuts in the top 10, as John Mayer's The Search for Everything: Wave One debuted at No. 2.

The entire chart will be revealed on Billboard's website tomorrow (Jan. 30).

AFI also revealed an eye-catching music video today for “Aurelia.” “Aurelia” marks the third music video AFI has released in support of The Blood Album.

AFI is currently on the road in support of The Blood Album with the Chain Gang Of 1974, Nothing and Souvenirs. Check out the dates below!
