The 22nd Air Guitar World Championships took place August 23-25, where 15 finalists competed to become the Air Guitar Champion in “the ultimate battle of Airness.”

Competitors came from all over the world to compete in the Air Guitar World Championships, all of them gathering in Oulu, Finland to determine who's the best of the best. Despite the freezing weather conditions, 15 finalists put on their best performances in an attempt to impress the judges and take home the crown. 

USA's Matt “Airistotle” Burns successfully defended his title, making this just the fourth time a contestant has had back-to-back titles throughout the championship's 22 year history.
