Alex Gaskarth calls out Chris Brown, labels Grammy attendance a "double standard"
During the Grammys this past Sunday, President Obama launched the domestic violence awareness campaign, #ItsOnUs, via a pre-recorded video message.
All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth took to Twitter following the clip and called out Chris Brown for his attendance at the awards ceremony, calling it a “double standard,” due his recent domestic violence dispute with Rihanna in 2009.

Gaskarth first tweeted, “Wow. Unbelievable. Maybe #ItsOnUs to not invite people like @chrisbrown to the fcking Grammys. Am I wrong?”
Brown reportedly responded with “@AlexAllTimeLow you sound really perfect brother… How can I get those VIP tickets to the pearly gates bro.. Seems like you have it down,” but then quickly deleted it (via E! Online).
Before the tweet was taken down, however, the All Time Low frontman bit back with, “@chrisbrown I'm not worried about the pearly gates RN, man. Worried about here and now… And double standards. And the messages we send.”
Gaskarth also added some additional commentary, ending his slight escapade with, “Shouldn't target individuals. Uncalled for, maybe? Or maybe it had to be said. Either way, sleep! “Be excellent to eachother,” — Bill & Ted.”
