Following her plan for the Green New Deal, Bronx congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) has since been supported by a plethora of music lovers and activists. However, the congresswoman appears to have gotten the big thumbs up from one of the most influential rock frontmen of all time, Thom Yorke of Radiohead.
Earlier today, Yorke retweeted Cortez’s NowThis video on her Green New Deal, which you can watch below.
“Our future is imperiled, our economy is fragile, and frontline communities are vulnerable to major threats from rising sea levels to lead in our water,” Cortez says in a tweet. “A #GreenNewDeal is a common sense, moral solution to fix these issues with the urgency they demand.”
