Here's your chance to hear Alice Cooper read you scary stories

Have you ever dreamed of Alice Cooper reading you scary stories in the spirit of Halloween? Now’s your opportunity.

The shock rocker is inviting fans to join him for a story session through an Airbnb online experience. This comes in an apparent effort to foster the spirit of Halloween in light of coronavirus-related restrictions.

“With Halloween all but canceled, we’ll have to take our penchant for terror to the scariest place I know – the internet,” Cooper says in the event description. “Join me for a spooky story session to celebrate the season. We’ll read about spiders and spirits, goblins and ghosts and monsters and mutants – all of my favorite things, really. And we’ll do it in full costume.”

In a post to Instagram, Cooper goes on to explain that proceeds from the event will benefit North Star Reach, a medical specialty camp that offers free experiences to children suffering from serious health challenges.

The “kid-friendly” event will take place via Zoom Oct. 21 at 4 p.m. PDT. Tickets are available for $94 per person starting Oct. 14 at 9 a.m. PDT.

“As a heads up, my experience will be streamed live and recorded for more fans to watch both on Airbnb.com and on YouTube,” Cooper notes, “So if you book to join me, you’ll also get to be part of the stream and recording.”

This isn’t all the rocker has in store for us this season, however. Last week, he announced a limited-edition Insane Mummy Tee. Though this print has sold out, fans looking for spooky merch can still get similar items from his online store
