All Time Low reveal when we can expect new music

Over the weekend, All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth joined DJ Kayzo onstage for the debut of their collab, “Up In Flames.” Gaskarth sat down with KROQ alongside guitarist Jack Barakat to reveal when we can expect new ATL music.

Meanwhile, Barakat also shared a little surprise of his own.

In a hilarious and entertaining interview, the All Time Low members dished the details on what’s next for the band and how blink-182’s Mark Hoppus stole their lead singer.

“For those who don’t know, Mark Hoppus stole my lead singer,” Barakat jokes of the ATL/blink side project Simple Creatures. “Mark Hoppus was an idol of ours, well of mine, I grew up idolizing him and he turned his back on me. The ultimate betrayal.”

When asked if we could still expect All Time Low to keep pumping out the hits, Gaskarth quickly agreed.

“Absolutely. Our plan is we’re taking a little break. I think hopefully by next year we’re gonna be ready to go again.”

Barakat adds, “Alex is doing Simple Creatures, I’m working on a little somethin’, somethin’.”

We’re intrigued.

He adds, “All Time Low loves touring. So no matter what happens, even if Alex wants to do his new thing, I’m gonna make him come back.”

This is why we love you, Jack.

You can catch the full interview below, which includes Barakat’s spot-on impression of Billie Eilish’s opening to her debut album.

More on All Time Low at Coachella

As previously reported, Kayzo said he would debut the “Up In Flames” track with All Time Low at the festival.

“We have a lot of special guests and cool things coming out. I’m about to put out my next single from my next album with a band called All Time Low and the song is called, ‘Up In Flames.’ It’s something we’re going to be debuting in a new way at Coachella and we’re definitely excited about that release post-Coachella.”
