All the Ghost Inside members are in stable condition, confirms bassist James Riley

The Ghost Inside bassist James Riley has confirmed through his personal Facebook page that all members of the band are in stable condition.

“I've seen news reporting that some of the guys are in critical condition so I'd like to clarify a little bit,” he wrote. “Tim and I were at the hospital last night and spoke extensively with each of the guys nurses. They are all in very stable condition and their families are arriving today to be with them. They still very much need your love and support.”

Yesterday, November 19, the Ghost Inside were involved in a fatal bus accident with an oncoming semi truck. The incident took place just a few miles east of the U.S. border patrol checkpoint on US 62/180. Various people had to be airlifted from the scene to nearby medical facilities.

The band released a statement yesterday evening: “Thanks to everyone who reached out with concern today. The Ghost Inside was involved in a serious bus accident outside El Paso, TX this morning. All 5 band members + all members of the crew are alive and currently being treated for their injuries. Please keep them in your thoughts as well as their bus driver and those in the other vehicle who did not make it. Unfortunately, all US shows on the Locals Only Tour are cancelled. Refunds available at point of purchase. We will update you more when we can.”

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help TGI and their families during this difficult time. There is also a separate GoFundMe to benefit the family of TGI's deceased bus driver, Greg Hoke.
