ATL dropped by iHeartRadio for an interview with host Johnjay Van Es about their Last Young Renegades tune “Good Times,” their dogs back home, and more. To make matters even more adorable, the band were joined on-air by a few #LovePup puppies from Johnjay's own Love Pup Foundation!

As reported by Rock Sound, ATL's Alex Gaskarth tells Johnjay that “Good Times” was the first song the group wrote for their most recent release, Last Young Renegades, the band's seventh studio album released in June.

“It was a very reflective song,” says Gaskarth. “We are talking about our younger years and how we took that leap of faith leaving high school, going straight into the band, leaving Baltimore and all of those comforts we knew back then to take chances in doing what we love.”

“It's a message to anyone out there who has doubts about taking that step, whatever that may be for them,” adds Gaskarth.

The #LovePup dogs featured in ATL's iHeartRadio interview are part of the #LovePup rescue program based in Phoenix, Arizona. ATL members took turns naming the rescue dogs and even speaking of their own beloved pups!

“I have two dogs and I miss them so much right now,” says Gaskarth. “So this is really therapeutic for us.”
