AMC screening 59-hour MCU marathon ahead of 'Avengers: Endgame'

You’re one of the lucky few to survive the snap of Thanos, but could you survive 59 straight hours of Marvel movies? AMC is offering the most-dedicated Marvel fans the opportunity to purchase a ticket for a 22-film screening that will end with a showing of Avengers: Endgame.

Starting April 23, select AMC locations will show all 22 MCU films in a massive marathon for all you die-hards out there.

The marathon will kick off with 2008’s Iron Man and follow all the way through the recently released box office hit, Captain Marvel.

Then, of course, it’ll end with the highly anticipated Avengers: Endgame.

That totals a whopping 59 hours and 7 minutes, which means you’ll probably want to sit down and decide when to take those bathroom and snack breaks. Especially since you won’t want to miss any of Endgame, which is over three hours long in itself.

The marathon will take place at a theater in New York, Illinois and California.

“At AMC Lincoln Square 13 (New York), AMC River East 21 (Illinois) and AMC Metreon 16 (California), fans will have the opportunity to experience a 22-title Marvel movie marathon unlike any other,” the AMC page states. “Starting Tuesday, April 23, see 22 films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe all leading up to MARVEL STUDIOS AVENGERS: ENDGAME. This premium event will include, marathon only collectibles and a special concession offer. Plus, AVENGERS: ENDGAME will start at 5 p.m. local time, one hour earlier than regular public show times.”
