American Football release new song and other news you might have missed today

Calling All Captains announced more tour dates—plus, don’t miss a new music video from the Jon Hill Project. Check out the news you might have missed today below!

1. American Football release new single

American Football released a new track, “Every Wave To Ever Rise,” featuring Elizabeth Powell. The song will be featured on the band’s third full-length album, American Football (LP3). The record will drop March 22 and is available for preorder here. This spring and summer they’ll headline a North American tour with support from illuminati hotties, Pure Bathing Culture and Tomberlin as well as perform at Fuji Rock Festival. 3. Shoffy debuts new song featuring gnash

Shoffy released a new version of “Cool Again” featuring gnash. The original track was featured on his third full-length album, Lenses. You can stream the album here.  

4. The Jon Hill Project release new music video



The Jon Hill Project released a powerful new music video for “Flat Line” featuring O’Brother’s Tanner Merritt. The track’s taken from his most recent album Rebirth, which also features Copeland’s Aaron Marsh, Hail The Sun’s Donovan Melero, Being As An Ocean’s Michael McGough and Dance Gavin Dance’s Tilian Pearson.  Founder Jon Hill hopes the new video can have an influence on those who need it. “It’s intense and very dark,” he says. “But I hope it can help another addict to relate and feel hope or show people the reality of the extreme lows this path leads you.” You can purchase Rebirth here.

5. A R I Z O N A debut new single, “Find Someone”



A R I Z O N A released a new music video perfect for animal lovers with their newest single, “Find Someone.” “The idea is: If someone or something is not good for you in your life, there are many simple ways and places to find happiness,” lead vocalist Zachary Charles says. “In the case of our video, that ‘someone’ who can always be there to love you better and turn your day around very well might be your puppy. Or chicken…or turtle…or goat…or baby bunny…or…well you get the idea.” The band will be supporting Panic! 6. Cokie The Clown (Fat Mike) announces new album, drops first single

Cokie The Clown (aka NOFX’s Fat Mike) will be releasing his debut full-length album, You’re Welcome, April 26. He also dropped his first single off the album, “Punk Rock Saved My Life.”. The album will feature a track produced by Danny Lohner, formerly of Nine Inch Nails, drums by blink-182’s Travis Barker and keys from Dizzy Reed of Guns ’N Roses. The album is available for preorder here.

7. Band Of Skulls release new video

Band Of Skulls released a music video for their single “Cool Your Battles.” The track will be featured on their fifth studio album, Love Is All You Love. “This record is tough and tender with a rebellious spirit,” say vocalists Russell Marsden and Emma Richardson. “It is a positive record. It looks to what is possible and how a little love and human kindness can help bring about positive change.” The album will be released April 12 and is available for preorder here.

8. Mat Kerekes releases “Ruby” music video

Mat Kerekes (Citizen) released a video for “Ruby,” the lead single from his upcoming full-length due out later this year. While information regarding the solo debut is still pending, Kerekes has hit the road in support of the new tunes. The tour kicks off tonight in Cleveland, Ohio with dates below and tickets available here.
