Nominations and categories were announced in October with Post Malone, Halsey up for Artists Of The Year and Billie Eilish finding herself in the category for Favorite Album Pop/Rock and New Artists Of The Year.

Panic! At The Disco are also up for a handful of awards including Favorite Duo or Group Rock/Pop where they will face off against the Jonas Brothers and BTS.

Malone, Ozzy Osbourne, Travis Scott, are set to perform their collaboration “Take What You Want” live for the first time ever.

In an interview with The Sun where Osbourne spoke about the collab and revealed he had no idea who Post Malone was when he asked him for a feature.

“I’d never even heard of this kid [Post Malone],” he said. “He wanted me to sing on his song ‘Take What You Want,’ so I did and then one thing led to another.”

He later said that working with Post’s producer Andrew Watt actually led him to making a nine-track album that “was a catalyst to get (him) to where (he is) today”.

Punk powerhouse Green Day will be taking the stage in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Dookie, performing “Basket Case” and latest single “Father for All…”

The band previously played through the entirety of their third LP at a one-off show in Madrid. The concert took place on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at a small-venue show (only 2,500 capacity) at the Spanish venue La Riviera.

More on the American Music Awards

The award show became the first-ever to announce a few of their their nominees via TikTok with creators Joshua Cureton, Nick Tangorra and Brittany Tomlinson participating in the content.

The three creators ended up announcing the nominees for favorite music video, best collaboration of the year and favorite social artist. This is a huge step for the app which has been progressively getting more and more popular over the last year.

The custom clips each featured the TikTok stars announcing the nominees in their own ways. Cureton made a music video incorporating themes from the videos, Tangorra put together a quick rap about the top collabs and Tomlinson opted for a straight-to-camera monologue about the top social acts.
