'American Dad!' renewed for two more seasons

American Dad! will be receiving two new seasons courtesy of TBS, which confirms that the show will air new episodes through 2018. Each season—12 and 13—will have 22 episodes.

“American Dad! has thrived since coming to TBS and Adult Swim, demonstrating the Turner portfolio’s ability to build enduring hits through a combination of smart programming, savvy promotion and extensive multiplatform distribution,” said Deborah Bradley, executive vice president of Turner Broadcasting network’s optimization and content commercialization. “We look forward to keeping the crazy-but-lovable Smith family around for a long time.”
