Creator Ryan Murphy previously teased a few details of the show’s upcoming season, saying he wanted to ” go to the future—still topical, but the future, which I’ve never done.”

And in a new interview, Murphy says the season is set to take place “18 months from today,” telling fans to look up what might be taking place then…

Plus, he teases that the next season will be “heightened,” going back to the Asylum and Coven tones.

The vague details haven’t stopped fans from guessing the show’s theme. Many twitter users are guessing the theme is “Radioactive” and if their correct, we’re pretty excited.

Plus, there’s been talk of the American Horror Story crossover season, and it looks like fans of the series could be seeing it in season nine. As Murphy previously explained, he’s been working on the crossover season for years.

“You know everybody involved says they're really optimistic about it—that they would want to read a script and then everybody wants to bring the band back together… So I think it could be great it could sort of be an all-star thing. Dylan [McDermott] said he'd be up for it, Connie [Britton] would be up for it. Angela [Bassett] said she'd be up for it. So we'll see. I'm optimistic about it.”
