Amnesia Rockfest shows best lineup to date for its 9th edition!
Amnesia Rockfest, the largest rock festival in Canada, unleashes a crazy lineup this year! Mötley Crue, Blink-182, Weezer, Alice In Chains, Megadeth, Billy Talent, Primus, NOFX and Cypress Hill are just some of the bands set to hit the stage June 20 and 21 at the Montebello marina, in the Outaouais region.
Each year, the Rockfest transforms the small village into a real rock paradise for a weekend. The ambiance is so unique that California punkrock band Blink-182 will show up for one of its rare concert this year.
If you’re a fan of iconic metal, Mötley Crue will kickoff their farewell tour in Montebello. Vince Neil, Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx andMick Mars will be on stage to close the 9th edition. It will be the only chance to see them in Quebec!
Other heavy hitters will include Five Finger Death Punch, A Day To Remember, Danzig with Doyle, Mastodon, The Used, Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, Joan Jett, Reverend Horton Heat, Fishbone and much more.
And – as usual – punk rock will be the heart of the Rockfest with Lagwagon, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Streetlight Manifesto, Reel Big Fish, Goldfinger, Face To Face, Strung Out, Anti-Flag,MXPX, The Vandals, Guttermouth, AlkalineTrio, New Found Glory and TheCasualties, among others.
A novelty at this year’s Rockfest is the introduction of a new internation metal scene. Venom will inaugurate this stage, along with Meshuggah, Cradle Of Filth, Cannibal Corpse and August Burns Red!
The Rockfest is really the biggest rock party of the summer – with something for every fan of Rock and Metal. The hype is such that the festival is expected to sell out for a second year in a row. So don’t wait and get your tickets early!
