An amazing retelling of 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' using only emojis—watch

For the release of Disney Stickers for the iPhone, Disney has shared a three-minute video retelling The Nightmare Before Christmas only using emojis—and it's awesome!

If that wasn't enough, composer Danny Elfman recently discussed the film's lasting impact with Time as it celebrates its 23rd birthday today. “We’re talking about a movie that, when it came out, was not successful, and built a following over many years which was, in itself, an extraordinary surprise,” Elfman says. “It’s just that weird thing that sometimes happens where a film continues a kind of cult life after it comes out.”

Elfman also reveals that although the movie is both a Halloween and Christmas movie, he thinks “it's more of a Halloween movie, but it really is about Christmas.”
