Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the concert industry is trying to find new ways to put on live events. With reports predicting that large scale events won’t return until 2021, promoters are getting creative with ideas of socially-distant venuesisolation pods and more.

On June 16, Nederlander Concerts, one of the largest independent promoters, announced its plans for Drive-In OC. The social distancing concert series is taking place in California and features performances from artists including McMahon.

In celebration of Everything In Transit‘s 15-year anniversary, he is performing the album in full on July 10 and 11. He is also incorporating other songs from Something Corporate and Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness. McMahon also teased that he may even perform new material.

Since the announcement, both shows have sold out. Now, McMahon has revealed that his Saturday, July 11 show will be streamed. Fans are able to purchase tickets for the livestream. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to McMahon’s Dear Jack Foundation.

“The sold out Drive-In OC shows are coming up fast,” he says. “And I’m very excited to announce that we will be live-streaming the show on Saturday, July 11 w/ our partners On Location Live. I’ll be performing Everything In Transit in full, plus other songs from Something Corporate & In The Wilderness. We might even have something new to play. Livestream tickets are on sale now. A portion of every ticket sold will benefit the Dear Jack Foundation.”
