Just a few days ago, Biersack revealed that he had to undergo surgery to remove his ruptured appendix.

“Just got out of surgery to remove my ruptured appendix, happy to report the procedure went very well and I should be back up on my feet in no time,” Biersack said in a tweet. “Thanks for all of your kindness & support. P.S., seeing all of the love you guys are showing for ‘The Promise’ means the world to me!”

A couple of days later, he provided fans with an update to his recovery and upcoming tour.

“For those asking for updates regarding the tour & my health: I am doing everything as instructed by my doctors post surgery and I’m going to attempt to run the show this week in rehearsals. I will let everyone know how the process is going. I don’t want to risk further injury,” one tweet reads.

He continued, “by jumping in to the full show before my body is healed enough to withstand it, but I also plan to get on the road as soon as I am cleared to do so. I will keep everyone up to date on my progress! Seeya soon.”

Now, Biersack has revealed that he should be cleared to start his tour Sunday.

“Thanks for all of your kind words regarding my physical recovery after an unexpected emergency surgery, I wanted to share that I am feeling significantly better every day and I have been told by my doctors that I should have no issue starting the tour at the end of the week!

“I am so excited to get back on stage and bring this show we have been working on to all of you!” he adds. “Rehearsals are sounding fantastic so far and I can’t wait for Sunday!”

Biersack’s sophomore solo album, which will be released under the name Andy Black, will also be accompanied by The Ghost Of Ohio graphic novel.

Both The Ghost Of Ohio album and graphic novel are available for preorder now digitally and via physical copies. Both will be released April 12.
