“Ghost of Ohio” comes from Black’s forthcoming sophomore solo record of the same name. He is releasing the album alongside The Ghost Of Ohio graphic novel.

The Black Veil Brides vocalist did not clarify when the video would drop, but hopefully he really means it when he says it’s coming soon.

Recently, Black unveiled the prologue to his graphic novel. The audio recording gives the background of the ghost. According to the recording, the ghost grew up in a small town with a lack of acceptance. After being accused of a crime he did not commit, the ghost was sentenced to death.

“I think I had an overall emotional renaissance when it came to doing this [project],” Biersack told AltPress about the space of his life dedicated to the making of The Ghost Of Ohio album and its spin-off graphic novel component.

“My ability to understand other people and just communicate and have empathy was greatly improved by this whole project. When you’re putting yourself out there on your own, there’s no safety net.”

“You’re not part of a gang of people who think, ‘Who cares what anybody else says? It’s us against the world.’ Which is great, but when you’re in a position when you’ve done that through your teenage years and into your adult life, you inherently close yourself off to the human condition.

Both The Ghost Of Ohio album and graphic novel are available for preorder now digitally and via physical copies. Check out Biersack’s latest song from the album below.
