Weekly home movies from The Ghost of Ohio Tour 2019

Friday, Black put out his highly-anticipated solo album which debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Rock Album Chart.

Prior to the release, Black gave us a glimpse into the upcoming album with the release of “The Promise”, “Westwood Road” and “The Ghost Of Ohio.”

The Ghost Of Ohio tells the tale of someone who died young, whose spirit inhabits an area for a hundred years looking for ways to connect while feeling forgotten.

The album, produced by Grammy nominee John Feldmann, acts as the soundtrack to his graphic novel of the same name.

“I think I had an overall emotional renaissance when it came to doing this [project],” Black told AltPress about the space of his life dedicated to the making of The Ghost Of Ohio album and its spin-off graphic novel component.

“My ability to understand other people and just communicate and have empathy was greatly improved by this whole project. When you’re putting yourself out there on your own, there’s no safety net.”

You can check out the official music video for the album’s title track, below.

In other news, Black just announced that he will be supported on an upcoming tour by one of our favorite drag queens — Adore Delano.
