Andy Black announces The Ghost Of North America tour

Andy Black has been teasing fans endlessly about his forthcoming graphic novel The Ghost of Ohio and sophomore album of the same name. Most recently, the Black Veil Brides frontman unleashed a black and white photo with Friday’s date on it.

However, we didn’t have to wait until then for the major news as the singer revealed today that he’s hitting the road for The Ghost Of North America tour later this year.

Andy Black and his many teasers

Given Black’s most recent tease, it looked like something could be coming Feb. 15.

While the photo doesn’t clarify exactly what is to come, many fans are speculating that it could be a song from Black’s forthcoming solo album, or even the whole thing.

While these fan theories could be true, Black tweeted just four hours earlier, “Itinere.” Thanks to one very smart Twitter user, the word allegedly translates to “tour” in Latin.

Only time will tell if today’s tour announcement with tickets on sale Friday is what Black was referring to or we have even more to look forward to later this week.

Recently, Black unveiled the prologue to his graphic novel. The audio recording gives the background of the ghost. According to the recording, the ghost grew up in a small town with a lack of acceptance. After being accused of a crime he did not commit, the ghost was sentenced to death.

“Sometimes when something so terrible happens to an innocent soul, the universe has a way of fixing the damage that was done,” the prologue says. “And on the evening of December 26, that’s exactly what happened. On that night you see, he returned from the dead. This is the ghost of Ohio.”

Before that, Black completely revamped his Twitter by hiding his tweets. Then, he released a short promo video, revealing that he was the “Ghost of Ohio.” Additionally, he announced that “ABII,” which is speculated to be his sophomore album, is “coming soon.”
