Apparently something can stop them...

Bad news for Vaux fans: The band have parted ways with Atlantic/Lava Records, and thus, their new album, Beyond Virtue, Beyond Vice, has been put into release limbo. A statement from the band reads as follows:

“VAUX has parted ways with Atlantic/Lava Records. Currently we are in the midst of the “separation process” with the label and are awaiting the outcome. This includes regaining ownership of our album “Beyond Virtue, Beyond Vice” that was scheduled for a November 8th release date. With all that has recently happened there is no “official” release date for the album, but we feel very confident that we will get the album back and be able to put it into the hands of our fans very soon. Despite all that has happened, the band is tighter than ever and feels very positive about the situation. We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and we look forward to seeing you on the road.
Sincerely,
Ryder, Quentin, Greg, Joe, Adam, Chris”

Even though the album has no set release date, you can still check out new material from the disc at VauxRock.com, as well as their MySpace and PureVolume pages.
