Here are the rumored changes Apple is planning for the next iPhone
Apple is apparently planning some big changes to iPhones with new functionality for 5G service while shaking up the design of their phones too.
According to Ad Age, as many as four new models will support 5G and they’ll be releasing two brand new accessories.

In their report, anonymous insiders are revealing the company’s iPhone models following the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be two lower-end versions replacing the regular iPhone 11.
They’ll be featuring flat stainless steel edges instead of the current curved design plus rounded corners similar to the 2018 iPad Pro. The flat screens will show a similar style to the iPhone 5.
The new iPhone Pro models are said to still have three cameras while standard models will stick to two. The company is also adding the 3-D LIDAR system that debuted with the iPad Pro in March to its high-end devices.
The highest-end model is reportedly having a slightly larger screen while they’re looking into removing the top cutout from the phone for Face ID and the selfie camera. All new models will, of course, be getting an update in their processors for smoother functionality.

On top of the new iPhone design, Apple is releasing a smaller and less expensive version of their HomePod speaker arriving as early as this year. The new speaker will be about half the size and will be seeing a lower price to stay competitive with cheap smart speakers from Google and Amazon.
They’ll also be producing Apple Tags which will allow tracking for items like your house keys or wallet. They’ll reportedly come with a leather sleeve and a keychain while puck-shaped tags will attach to whatever you want to track.
Apple is also reportedly looking at producing a new version of the MacBook Pro, Apple TV, new budget iPads and a new iMac.
People familiar with Apple’s plans are saying they could face delays with release due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Still, they’ll be arriving within the rough fall timeframe as usual for Apple.
Suppliers haven’t heard anything about delays from Apple as of yet and engineers are expecting to travel to China in May to finalize designs.
