Aaaah! Real Monsters!
Epitaph band (and former AP cover stars) Matchbook Romance have posted a brand new song from their upcoming album, Voices, out Feb. 14, 2006. The song is called "Are You Afraid Of Monsters?" and can be heard here.
The band are currently on tour with Armor For Sleep, Lovedrug and Gatsbys American Dream right now [dates below], and were in AP‘s fair city of Cleveland last night, where after the show, the band threw an exclusive listening party for AP, their fellow tourmates and some lucky, lucky fans where they debuted six brand new tracks off Voices. Let AP be the first to tell you that, off of those six songs alone, the new Matchbook Romance sounds absolutely nothing like the old Matchbook Romance. To say he band have grown by leaps and bounds is an understatement. Think Muse; think the Beatles; think Gatsbys American Dream (seriously); think big.
