Astro Magnetics signs the Lovekill; band posts tour dates
Astro Magnetics, the label co-owned by Eyeball Records founder Alex Saavedra, Eyeball label manager Marc Debiak and Thursday frontman Geoff Rickly, has announced the signing of Cleveland post-hardcore/rock quartet the Lovekill. Astro describes the band as "sick as hell," and says that their full-length debut, These Moments Are Momentum, produced by Stephen Pedersen (Criteria, Cursive), will be out on the label in 2006. In the meantime, the band have released a three-song tour-only EP titled Sleepover, featuring two tracks from Momentum and one exclusive B-side.
