Taking Back Sunday to sell autographed holiday cards for charity

Taking Back Sunday have posted packs of specially designed, autographed holiday cards in their webstore. The cards, designed by James Rheem Davis, are being sold in packs of five or 10, with all proceeds being donated to cancer charities personally selected by drummer Mark O'Connell's mother Roberta, who is a cancer survivor, bassist Matt Rubano's mother Hinda, also a cancer survivor, and guitarist Eddie Reyes' brother, whose daughter Elizabeth lost her battle with cancer at a very young age.

"Each one of us has known someone dear that has been afflicted with cancer," said Rubano in a statement. "We as a band are dedicated to devoting time, energy and love towards those battling the disease, in order to raise awareness and help those in need."

Every card is autographed by all five members of TBS — O'Connell, Rubano, Reyes, guitarist/vocalist Fred Mascherino and singer Adam Lazzara — and the proceeds will be split three ways between the Susan G.

, the American Cancer Society and Give Kids The World Village.

TBS are currently in the studio working on their follow-up to the gold-selling Where You Want To Be, released in 2004 on indie label Victory Records. This new album will be the band's first for major label Warner Bros., and is slated for a late spring 2006 release.
