The Good Life embark on world tour (sorta)

Saddle Creek artist the Good Life, a.k.a. the alter-ego of Cursive's Tim Kasher, have announced a half-dozen shows in December to close out the year. Five of the six shows are in the Midwest. One is in Germany. Like, the country. Amazingly, it's the one in the middle of all the other shows. Here's to hoping the band signed up for frequent flier miles. Dates:

Mon-Dec-12 Des Moines, IA Vaudeville Mews

Tue-Dec-13 Chicago, IL Abbey Pub

Wed-Dec-14 North Manchester, IN The Firehouse

Sat-Dec-17 Berlin, Germany Columibia Hale

Thu-Dec-22 Omaha, NE Sokol Underground

Fri-Dec-23 Omaha, NE Sokol Underground

All shows are in support of the band's 2004 album Album Of The Year; there is no word on any sort of new recording for the band on the horizon, as Kasher's other band, Cursive, go back into full swing in 2006, with a new album scheduled for release this August.
