The Strokes announce 2006 U.K. tour

The Strokes have announced dates for a tour of the United Kingdom this January/February in support of their upcoming LP, First Impressions Of Earth, which comes out in America Jan. 3. The band have just wrapped up a "secret" tour of Europe, playing semi-unannounced gigs throughout the continent (or at least the western half), and are rumored to be doing the same in the U.S. before the album's release; however, no more information has surfaced. The band have promised to launch a full U.S. tour in the spring, however. Dates:
