Veda change name to Vedera

Second Nature Recordings band Veda have changed their name to Vedera to avoid confusion with another, similary monikered group.



"We are happy with the new name," says Vedera frontwoman Kristen May. "Ultimately, our music is the most important thing, and we are confident in the loyalty our friends and fans show us. Only good can come from moving forward."



The band recently completed a comprehensive U.S. tour opening for Thrice in support of their debut album The Weight Of An Empty Room. The Kansas City quartet are taking the holidays off, but plan on returning to the road in 2006, first alongside Mute Math, then with Owen. Once dates are announced, we will bring them to you.
