Bear Vs Shark break up

Equal Vision
progressive post-hardcore act Bear
Vs Shark
have broken up. The band's label has released the following statement regarding the Michigan quintet's dissolution:

"After nearly five years of playing music together, Bear Vs Shark have decided to conclude their story and will no longer be playing music together… [They] have no plans for a final show."

The band, formed in 2001, put out two albums via EVR; the first being 2003's
Right Now, You're In The Best Of Hands…, and the second being Terrorhawk, which was released this past June. You can sample music from both releases at the
band's MySpace page.

The band were recently announced as a support act on the upcoming Honorary
Title/Limbeck tour, but will not be honoring their touring obligations. There is currently no word on who might replace them on the bill.
