All Mest up

Chicago pop-punks Mest have announced that they have to drop off their current tour with Social Distortion and Dead 60s due to drummer Nick coming down with a case of carpal tunnel syndrome. The band‘s statement:

"We want to let all of our fans know that we will be leaving the Social Distortion tour after the show on October 11th. Unfortunately, Nick is suffering from Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and he has been drumming in pain for sometime now. Nick is going to see a doctor back in Chicago this week. But, Nick will still be playing with us at The Vic Theatre show on Oct 17th, the Long Island/Looney Tunes in-store on Oct 19th and the New Jersey/Vintage Vinyl in-store on Oct 22nd. So please come out to see us at one of these performances. After that we will be taking a short break so that Nick’s wrist can heal. Don’t worry though we will be back out on the road soon to support our new album, which comes out on Tuesday. Thank You to all of our fans who bought tickets to see us play with Social D and Thank You to Mike Ness and Social D for being so understanding. See you soon, Mest.”

This hasn‘t slowed down the Social D tour, however; former tourmates Bullets And Octane have stepped up to the plate and will fill in for Mest for all remaining shows. You can find all remaining dates here.
