The Pipettes show cut short after fire on stage

60s-inspired indie pop girl group the Pipettes were on fire last night at the Rock ‘N Rag charity concert in Boston. Literally. During the Brits’ set a stage monitor caught on fire causing a moderate amount of mass hysteria, a visit from the local fire department, and an early end to the show. Thankfully, no one was injured. Another Rock ‘N Rag event with J*DaVeY is slated for tomorrow night at the House of Blues in San Diego. Admission is free with one article of clothing for donation.
