The State DVD postponed indefinitely

We’ve got bad news for fans of MTV’s The State. Yes, it was announced that the music network would finally be releasing the long-awaited comedy series on DVD this fall but it looks like MTV has pulled the plug on those plans, according to Michael Showalter’s blog My Old Kentucky Home. Howev, don’t let that frown stew for long. We come bearing good news, too! The State will be reuniting for a sketch-comedy movie. Details are scarce but it looks like the gang’s back to perform a live-action history of our great country. We’re not sure what kind of props are going to be used in the film, but we’re crossing our fingers and toes for $240 worth of pudding.
