Advent (ex-Beloved) signs to Solid State

North Carolina metal quintet Advent (featuring three ex-members of Beloved) have inked a deal with Solid State Records. The band’s debut full length, Remove The Earth, is set to hit shelves nationwide on Feb. 12, 2008.

Advent frontman Joe Musten (ex-Beloved drummer):

“The three of us grew up together listening to the heavy stuff. It was bands like Buried Alive, Strongarm and Turmoil that really inspired us. I always wanted to be a frontman and get in people’s faces. I enjoy the screaming and I always believed I had something to say.”
