New Daytrotter sampler available from eMusic
Online music store eMusic issued today a collection of tracks recorded for indie-rock virtual hotspot Daytrotter. Just like the tracks available on Daytrotter.com, the eMusic comp is free for both subscribers and non-subscribers alike. Daytrotter Sessions Vol. 2 includes the following:

Never heard of Daytrotter? May we suggest you check out their session archives immediately if not sooner. Bands from all over the country stop in Rock Island, Illinois, and record four songs of their choosing to tape. Often, the songs are alternate versions, rare tracks or previously unreleased songs. Daytrotter then posts the goods for free. Score!
