My Chemical Romance to cover Bob Dylan for "Watchmen"

My Chemical Romance will be covering Bob Dylan’s "All Along The Watchtower" for the upcoming "Watchmen" film adaptation, according to a recent report.

The "Watchmen" film is based on the comic book series of the same name, which ran from September 1986 to October 1987 and was created by Alan Moore and illustrated by Dave Gibbons. The movie is set for release on March 6, 2009.

My Chem’s cover will be the only post-1985 song in the movie.



The band recently released the live collection, The Black Parade Is Dead!, on Reprise.
