Thursday enter studio with Dave Fridmann for next full-length

Thursday has entered the studio for their next studio full-length. The band is once again recording with producer Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev), who also handled 2006’s A City By The Light Divided.

In the interim between City and their 2007 Victory-released CD/DVD compilation Kill The House Lights, the band parted ways with Island Records. An announcement regarding a backing label for the next full-length is expected in the coming months.

Prior to its release, however, will be a split LP with Envy on Temporary Residence Ltd. One of the songs, "In Silence," was debuted at the band’s recent co-headlining show with Hot Water Music in New York City.
