Jesu to release new EP

The prolific Jesu has announced yet another new forthcoming release. Why Are We Not Perfect?, a five-song EP, will be released through Hydra Head September 9.

Why Are We Not Perfect? will contain one new song, the two tracks from 2007’s vinyl-only split LP with Eluvium (TRL / Hydra Head), and alternative versions of those two songs.

Since releasing his last proper full-length, Conqueror, in 2007, Justin Broadrick — the mastermind behind Jesu — has issued a number of EPs and/or splits under the moniker. 2007 also saw the release of Sun Down / Sun Rise EP (Aurora Borealis / Daymare), the Pale Sketches collection (Avalanche) and the Lifeline EP (Hydra Head). More recent were under-the-radar splits with Envy (Daymare) and Battle Of Mice (Robotic Empire).
